Terms and Conditions
Who We Are
mens|counselling|help is an online directory designed to help men find and make contact with independent male counsellors and therapists. The website itself does not provide counselling, therapy, or clinical services.
Our Role
Our role is limited to providing an online platform where counsellors can present information about their services and where visitors can search for, view, and contact them directly. We do not recommend, endorse, supervise, or manage any counsellor listed on the site, nor do we assess the suitability of any counsellor for an individual user.
Any counselling or therapeutic services are provided solely by the individual counsellor. Any agreement, contract, or therapeutic relationship entered into is strictly between the client and the counsellor concerned. menscounsellinghelp is not a party to these arrangements and accepts no responsibility or liability for the services provided, advice given, or outcomes of any therapeutic work.
Each counsellor is responsible for their own professional conduct, qualifications, insurance, ethical practice, and compliance with relevant professional bodies and legal requirements.
No Medical Advice / Emergency Use
The information provided on this website is for general information purposes only and is not intended as medical, psychiatric, or emergency advice. mens|counselling|help is not suitable for crisis situations.
If you are in immediate danger, experiencing severe distress, or feel at risk of harming yourself or others, you should contact your GP, local emergency services, or a recognised crisis support service without delay.
Accuracy of Information
While we take reasonable care to ensure that the website functions as intended, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of information provided by counsellors on their individual profiles. Counsellors are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and up to date.
No Endorsement
The inclusion of a counsellor on mens|counselling|help does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by the website. Users are responsible for making their own decisions about whether a particular counsellor is suitable for their needs.
Third-Party Links
The website may contain links to external websites or resources. These are provided for convenience only. mens|counselling|help has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, mens|counselling|help accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or harm arising from the use of the website or from any interaction, agreement, or therapeutic work undertaken between users and counsellors listed on the site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Dual Role Disclaimer
The owner of mens|counselling|help may also be listed on the website as an individual counsellor. In such cases, any counselling services provided are offered strictly in the capacity of an independent practitioner and not on behalf of the website.
Any therapeutic relationship, agreement, or professional responsibility arises solely between the client and the counsellor, and not with menscounsellinghelp as a platform.
